Help me pick a chicken dish!!!

Niecy Sparkles, on October 22, 2013 at 11:10 AM Posted in Planning 0 32

I don't like chicken that much (especially at weddings) because it's almost always bland and dry. Nevertheless, some people don't eat much red meat so I figured chicken would be the safest route. Since I'm not a fan of chicken, help me pick my second entree. Picture with chicken selections attached.

I would go with something with a sauce, if you are worried about dryness. I would choose the Rosemary Rub Chicken with a Rich Mushroom Marsala Sauce.

MMMmmm, they all look good! If I was ordering off a list, I would probably choose the Rosemary or Chardonnay. However, I think to accommodate a large crowd, the chicken parm might be best.

I think the chicken parm is the least likely to be dry (breading will lock in moisture some and it has a sauce) and usually a popular dish, although they all look good.

I don’t eat chicken BUT for guests I would do chicken parm or what Ashley said with the Rosemary Rub Chicken with a Rich Mushroom Marsala Sauce.

I think the chicken chardonnay would be delish and sounds the most elegant to me! The parm would be the biggest and safest crowd pleaser most likely, and the mushroom would be good too I bet. I'd steer clear of the pecan one in case there are people with nut allergies.

They all sound good, but chicken parm would be the most familiar and comfortable for people. You can't really go wrong with chicken parm Smiley smile

What is with people and the word moist? My best friend hates it, which usually results in us working it into conversation as much as possible around her Smiley smile

I would pick the pecan crusted with bourbon glaze, but I think everyone is right about the chicken parm. Familiar and the sauce and breading will keep it from being dry.
