Help! Is my ring combo tacky??

I really need some honest opinions. Me and FH recently ordered our wedding bands. I wanted a diamond alternative for both, so I went with a morganite solitaire e-ring and a half eternity opal wedding band. I ordered my band from Etsy, it arrived and the opals look much more green than they did in the photo. This isn't too much of a problem as I love the ring on it's own...but when paired with my e-ring i'm worried it looks tacky? Also, there is a fairly odd gap as they don't sit flush. I love both rings so much separately but i'm not sure how I feel about them together. FH and my mom tell me they love it, but i'm a little worried I won't love it forever and ever.

Thoughts??

I think it's beautiful, but I like non-traditional jewelry a lot. Do you love it?

I think they are beautiful together!! They compliment each other well and are very unique. What matters though is how you feel about them - do YOU love them together? Are a bunch of people on the internet going to make you just feel "better" about it, or do you really, truly love it?

My e ring is the same way. The setting is high and nothing sits flush with it. I contemplated getting a custom design to snugly nest with it but it was ridiculously expensive.
The set is unique and if you love it, go for it. No one will notice the gap unless you point it out. It's beautiful because it's yours and no one else's.
