Help! Is my ring combo tacky??

I really need some honest opinions. Me and FH recently ordered our wedding bands. I wanted a diamond alternative for both, so I went with a morganite solitaire e-ring and a half eternity opal wedding band. I really need some honest opinions. Me and FH recently ordered our wedding bands. I wanted a diamond alternative for both, so I went with a morganite solitaire e-ring and a half eternity opal wedding band. I ordered my band from Etsy, it arrived and the opals look much more green than they did in the photo. This isn't too much of a problem as I love the ring on it's own...but when paired with my e-ring i'm worried it looks tacky? Also, there is a fairly odd gap as they don't sit flush. I love both rings so much separately but i'm not sure how I feel about them together. FH and my mom tell me they love it, but i'm a little worried I won't love it forever and ever.

Thoughts??

I love that. I wish I could pull that off with my ring. I love opals and moonstones ugh.

Be careful with the opals. I'd probably just wear the opal ring for special occasions. My teacher was driving with hers on and it shattered due to the heat in the car. Definitely not an everyday ring.

Morganite and opals are at a very high risk of cracking and fogging. Please be extremely careful. These stones were not meant to be everyday, engagement stones.

My only issue is that I personally prefer white gold or platinum over yellow gold. But that's totally my personal preference. The stones look really pretty together and very unique!

I think it looks beautiful. You can always do upgrades . Me and my exhusband started with silver bands upgraded to titanium when our daughter was born 2yrs later.

I think they are beautiful together. I have a morganite center stone set in a rose gold ring with diamond accents. I know the struggle of the stone getting foggy. I have not had any issues with the softness though and I've had quite a few knocks but generally try to be very careful. My jeweler gave me this amazing cleaner that I use for it and it sparkles like new =)

I think they are beautiful together too. I love them.

eta - opal is my birthstone and I own a ton of opal jewelry. My nose ring is opal and I never take it out. None of my opal jewelry have ever scratched, shattered, crack etc.

I love it. I really wanted an opal ring but I was worried about the stone falling out due to shrinkage.

Nope, love it. The gold ties it all together. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a hater.

ETA: My sister had that gap problem with her ring, the jeweler was able to adjust the e ring setting so they sit flush.

I think they look good but if it bothers you. ..you could think about wearing the e-ring on the right hand and wedding bands on your left
