Help addressing invitations.

I personally like "and family"

Formally, I would use the child's name if you have the information. If you put "& Family" lots of assumptions can be made as to who they can invite with them. To some people & Family means they can bring their mom and their 3 cousins with them.

We are going to do "and Family". Most of our friends and family would not think to add extra guests.

Tiffany - I thought the same thing, but I was WRONG! Just beware.

We listed actual names and put them on the second line under the parents name.

Good point on the inviting extra guests- I didn't even think about that. Good thing I put the # of seats reserved.

I didn't really like the idea of "& Family" if they only have the one child because like some said I don't want them to bring the sister to the brother-in-law on the 2nd cousins side!
