Hawaii honeymoon recommendations?

I went to Oahu and Kauai for my trip. And it is just so lovely in Hawaii, really. I definitely suggest Oahu cause there’s so much to do and see. It can get expensive in Hawaii though but if you’re super into nature then that’s free - beautiful beaches great scenery great hiking spots, etc

I've never been, but are you self-planning, or looking for a travel agent?

I used to live in Hawaii! Each island has such a different vibe. What are you two interested in? Sight seeing? Hiking? Beaches? Night life? You may choose to island hop to give you some different experiences!

I would not recommend Oahu at all. I went and it's the least Hawaiian experience you can possibly have. Way too touristy and found it to be not much different than California (where I live), sure the beaches are nicer but it's really nothing special at all. I'd recommend Kauai or Maui.

We went to Kauai last December and loved it! I haven’t been to any of the other islands, so I can’t compare those. Kauai is great if you’re looking for something quiet and outdoorsy. We did a lot of hiking, kayaking, and snorkeling. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for shopping or nightlife.

Maui is beautiful! There's the Road to Hana and Molikini that are both very unique and gorgeous. The Road to Hana takes you to the top of a mountain and you can go to watch the sunrise! And Molikini is an underwater volcano with coral and fish living inside the top and there're boats that take you out snorkeling in it. We loved Maui!!
