Havining TWO hairstyles on wedding day

KeriS, on July 22, 2013 at 12:14 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9

So, my dress has an intricate back. I didnt want a veil so I thought my hair could be down and over my shoulder.

Then I tried on a veil and I want one!! =P I like the styles where it's an updo and the veil is pinned underneath. So I was thinking, maybe I can have my updo with veil, then have that side ponytail for the reception without veil.

SO ANYWAY. I was wondering if anyone else has done two hairstyles on their wedding day. Was it worth it? Opinions? Suggestions?

Thanks!!

I'm going to be doing it probably. I want an updo for the ceremony, and then let my hair down for the reception. I have a cathedral veil with a blusher, and both pieces are Velcroed to the comb, so it'll be easy to play around with that. For the reception I am going to be wearing a fun hairpiece. I'm lucky however that my MOH is also a hairstylist and is able to do this for me.

I'll be doing it, hair half up/half down for the ceremony and in a side braid for the reception so I can dance and get as little sweaty and gross as possible, haha

I'll be doing it. I am trying to get two different looks for the ceremony and reception. My ceremony hair will be an updo. My reception hair will be all out and if I don't get a second dress then I also plan to change my belt/sash for the reception.

I'll be doing an updo for the ceremony and putting it down for the reception.

I'm paying extra though for my hair/makeup team to stay on-site throughout the reception.

That's my plan. My hairstylest is going to pin my hair up on the sides and the front so that I can wear my veil and headpiece and then after the ceremony we are going to let it down into curles and I am going to pin a rose in the side.

I don't think ill be doing that. It all depends on what dress I get but I think its a great idea so you can have the best of both
