Have you started on your vows yet?

We both wrote ours and had note cards of them. It's helpful to have a backup in case you go blank! Neither my husband nor I are awesome public speakers and even though we knew months in advance of what we were both saying I knew I couldn't do without reading. I didn't think I was going to be so emotional during our ceremony either and once you're up there in front of everyone it's easy to just want to skip the things you write down so you could kiss them already.

We haven't written them yet but I made little vow books. We'll write our vows, I plan to practice mine, then read them at the ceremony hopefully without nervous error or too much happy tears lol.

Nope, I haven't. 102 days left. I love to write so I'm sure the words will just flow once I get started.

Nope. My wedding is 1 year away, I’ll probably start on them in January.

I was a huge procrastinator in that area and literally wrote mine the week of the wedding! I'm also not at all comfortable with public speaking so there was no way I was going to memorize them. I simply wrote them on a piece if paper and read from it. Not the prettiest option haha!

I have a rough list going of things I want to say but I haven't actually started writing them yet.

We have little booklets we'll use during the ceremony. I don't think I'll be able to remember them if I tried to memorize them lol.

I've been writing things here and there as inspiration strikes. I will definitely have them written down because I don't want to chance forgetting what I was going to say.

I've jotted down some thoughts, but I haven't set them exactly yet. i'll probably have to read them because I think i'll be to emotional to remember them!

I haven't started yet, but I better get on it. We get married next weekend. Haha. I'll probably write them on a notecard because if not, I tend to be a rambler. 😣

I bought vow books to write our vows in. I don't want to be up there stuttering and saying "um" and "like" and other filler words. I also don't want to forget to say anything I wanted to!

I just spent 5 hours writing mine the other day. We have official vow books we ordered and I will wrote the final version in there. I know I’m going to be a mess our officiant said to practice them so we will start that shortly!
