Definitely thought about it. I hate attention since I have an anxiety disorder and this wedding is throwing my irrational brain into a fit.

I've thought about it plenty of times! It would be less stressful and we would save so much money! However, I know myself and I know I would regret not having the wedding of our dreams.

We’ve joked about it and when we get stressed we’ve actually considered it but in the end we both want the whole thing with the families

Guilty. I don’t like people. I don’t see why I need to have them come and judge my wedding reception. I feel like big weddings are a show and people come to eat, see everything and then criticize it. We are having a small wedding and I feel better about that but, we could have eloped and took a nice vacation with this money instead.

Our wedding is mainly budgeted on the reception, and our families would still expect a nice party so even though I wish we could elope my fiancée has convinced me it’s not really an option....even though we are having to pay everything ourselves. But I get where he’s coming from.

No I have never thought about it. But i know others who have under the stress if planning the wedding. Ask me in 6months

GUILTY! Haha I wanted to elope to begin with. It FH did not. However he recently joked about skipping everything loosing our deposits and just booking an Alaskan cruise.

At least once a day! Honestly if I knew how crazy wedding planning is and how crazy it makes other people, I would have changed so many things. It's too late now but I still have those "if only" moments.

Yes! Any and every time I get stressed. Then I look back and see how much money we’ve already invested in the wedding and I get over it lol.

Before we got engaged we joked about eloping but I wanted the dress, the party, the cake and everything else.

On occasion. Not necessarily just us but having a micro wedding with just a few people sounds amazing.

Being divorced and having the big wedding the first time and not getting anything I wanted and not much support from my family. We both agreed elopement was going to be the best way to get what we want. Also we want to pay for everything ourselves so we dont have to care about others opinions. So we are eloping to New Orleans and spending time there for honeymoon and coming back and throwing a reception party.

Gulty, but then I get over it quickly. It seems like most people that elope still throw a party. So I’m like might as well go for it. Also since I had the most no frill courthouse wedding the 1st time around, I want to have a proper wedding. Definitely don’t want to look back and regret not having one. Oh and I love wedding planning.
