No but I really want to and we both know it would be beneficial to our relationship. We just don’t know where to even go. We’re not as plugged into our church as I’d like us to be so asking our pastor would be a little awkward for the two of us. My youth pastor would have been great but he moved out of state several years ago and trying to schedule Facetime sessions would just be too difficult. I don’t want to just go to any family counselor, I want a counselor that can guide us relationship wise by having God as the center of our relationship.

Aww you’re welcome! There’s also the devotional on the Bible app that ties into the book/workbook. We were doing that before he even gifted us the book. It’s under the same title: Getting ready for marriage.

    God bless 💕

The church we are having our minister from requires it so we have had 1 session so far!

Neither of us are religious so we aren't doing it through a church.
However, we bought three books to go through before we get married and they have been really beneficial! They just ask questions that we wouldn't think of on our own that are likely to come up in life, and then we discuss it to see where we are alike and where we differ.

We did, but not typical counseling. We're both catholic, so we actually had to go through pre-marital counseling and other additional classes with the church called pre-cana, where we opening talk about our understand of marriage, and all the way in to planning for children -- or even if we're unable to have our own. I would suggest pre-cana for even non-catholics, it's really refreshing.

We thought about it, especially when we were going through hard points in our relationship, but we haven’t.

My fiancé and I are doing counseling and we love it. It really gives us a chance to learn more about each other.

We are required to for our church. We completed it but i'd love to do more/ read some books. I think counseling is so beneficial no matter how stable the relationship.

No we haven’t. We’ve been together for awhile and feel like we aren’t in need of it.
