Following! I have uber cards that have a code for our guests to get a $30 ride free! I'd love to see how this went too!

We've used Uber Black when we lived in Atlanta and it was quite nice. We had a new Escalade and it felt like the had hired a private company for our special event. I'd recommend them but are you thinking of using them in lieu of a limo for yourself or is this to shuttle guests? If its the later, I'd use a professional company due to liability and other potential risks for your guests.

Following. I use Uber regularly and I'm considering it for guests who are staying at hotels away from our venue.

FutureMrs.E - How'd you get those cards? I would love to offer that option to guests!

You should be able to select what type of vehicle you want with Uber Black. We had another couple with us, so we opted for the Escalade since we thought it would be roomy for everyone and it certainly was! Sounds like this could be a good idea and deal for you & your bridal party.

Following! FH and I drive a Toyota Prius and a Ford Focus respectively. I'm not usually into vanity, but my car is a piece of crap and I'd rather not make my grand exit in a frickin Prius, ya know? Lol! I mean, it's a great car for day to day life, but definitely not the first car that comes to mind when you think "wedding". Lol!

We did it for our rehearsal dinner and the men did the day of the wedding. It was great!

Yes, I downloaded the app and it gave me the option to choose the car I want. I will give them a try. Our venue is literally 15mis away, so I don't want to rent a limo just for 15/30mins.

That's awesome! I'll have to look into that since we would only need like 10 cars at the absolute most. Thanks for the headsup!

This thread is perfect as I had the same question! I saw these cards at the gym & trying to find the source. I'll look into snapshot, never heard of them

I think snapshot is a company to help you find photographers from what I can remember? But apparently I created an account with them and that's how I got the email for the free cards!

I have used Uber black before and it was great. The guy that picked us up was super sweet and we actually just contact him when we needs rides and he picks us up for a better rate than uber has!

I would make sure for the uber referral cards you get free rides! You should be able to provide your own unique referral code to your guests so you get something out of it too.

One of my friends used uber black for her wedding. She and her groom and BMs used it to get her from the hotel to the ceremony and from ceremony to reception and wherever else they had to go. They spent a total of $60 and the uber drivers they had were super excited to be driving them. They had a great experience with it so i will be using Uber black also.

Check out UberEvents -- you can provide your guests with a unique code for the event and determine how much $ you want to put toward their ride. The code also requries them to be dropped off within a certain distance from your event, so it doesn't get abused Smiley smile

We are strongly considering this option--here's the site: https://www.uber.com/events
