Has anyone used Peerspace for their Wedding?

We did not, but I think there are several things you need to take into consideration while making this decision. Renting tables, chairs and linens. I would also look into wedding insurance. Also, how many people you can have at the event? If you can plan serving alcohol you will likely need a license in order to do so. Does the space have enough parking and bathrooms?

Hi! Just wanted to chime in that we very briefly toyed with this idea since we wanted a unique venue where we could choose all of our vendors and venue rental fees in NYC are very expensive! But I thought it would be too risky for a wedding, especially for an engagement longer than a few months. It’s very similar to AirBNB—which for the most part, I’ve had great experiences with! But there was that one time when the host had to cancel on me a month before the trip and I had to scramble to book a hotel. I read about some Peerspace cancellation stories on Yelp. It could very much work well, but the possibility of the venue closing or cancelling was scary to me! Couldn’t imagine having to scramble to book another venue at the last minute, especially when you’ve already booked other vendors. Also curious if other brides have used it!
