Has anyone had your dog walk you down the aisle?

I was just wondering if anyone has or has seen a bride walk down the aisle with their dog? This is something that I have been considering because our ceremony is going to be at a park that my fiancé and I frequent with our dog, so he is familiar with the environment. Also, he is great at walking on a leash, hardly ever barks, and is a very chill dog. Also, the ceremony is going to have around 20 people, and my dog has been comfortable in crowds much larger.

My family won’t be traveling to our wedding, so I don’t have anyone to walk me down the aisle. I would love it to have my dog walk with me instead, especially since I have anxiety at being the center of attention. Having him beside me would make me feel so much better. I just don’t know if people would find it weird? It seems like most people have their dogs as the ring bearer and walk down with someone from the bridal party.

    I think it’ll be cute to have your dog with you and your ceremony location is gorgeous by the way!

    our dog can even sit next to you with your bridal party. Also could have you and your FH walk down together with your dog in the middle during the ceremony exit Smiley smile

    The only challenging thing I could think of is making sure he/she does do their business before hand just in case.

    I haven’t seen a dog walk with the bride but I have seen them walk with the wedding party. The biggest issue was he kept stopping at every single aisle to sniff the guests.

    I think that’s a great idea! Especially since he’s familiar with the area. I wouldn’t think it was weird at all as a guest. You can just have your MOH hold his leash during the ceremony!

    I think it's a cute idea! As long as he's comfortable in the surroundings it should be no problem.

    I say go for it! Dogs are family. Plus you could find him some cute attire- like a bow tie/bandana or decorate his leash. It would be so cute!

    I would love that! I'm having my dog walk down the aisle as well! My dad will be walking me, but our bulldog will have our rings. I don't think anyone will think it's weird, it's actually very cute! Many of my guests are looking forward to seeing him! I would say go ahead!

    If they were not rescues and nervous in crowds I would have legit had my 2 males walk me down the isle and my female be my maid of honor. Do it girl, do it for all of us who wish we could
