Aw hon! I don't think it's a disaster, although i do think it looks....not quite right. But you can still tell what a beauty you are. And you have AMAZING blond hair!

I don't think it's THAT bad. the back of the hair looks fairly good. It's definitely the "poof" that she made from the front. And that make up does not make you pop. Please keep us posted on the second trial!

Thanks, ladies! I really don't like anything about any of it. The hair is just awkward, the lipstick is bad, I look like I have 2 black eyes, and her eyeliner wouldn't even go on me. At least I got my roots colored so I got something positive out of it. ?

Ok the bumpit hair look is pretty bad. Luckily you're a beautiful girl and i honestly think you look beautiful with your makeup! You know you better than us though, but i'm glad you're confident enough to walk away! A lot of times great hair stylists for cut/color aren't great with up-dos.

Woah. so the hair is not THAT bad. I actually think it looks cute from the back. I feel like the problem would be an easy fix - to take the pieces from behind your ear that she tucked below the updo and bring it up to make it more part of the updo and cover the "part" from the bump.

That makeup though....holy cow. what color did she use on your face?! Luckily for you, you are gorgeous and that still shines through!

Fingers crossed for your next trial! I think you did the right thing by looking for a new salon.

Some parts of the hair look okay, I just don't like how it looks so sectioned off, and I wanted it all low down like in the pictures. As far as makeup, I work from home and lately I just don't wear much, so I told the new place when I booked I will probably go with a more natural look, definitely not drastic. I want to look like myself, just a weddingy version, and something that will look good in pictures. What she did yesterday was not what I had in mind at all! I will post pictures this evening, and hopefully they are a lot better!

Not every hairdresser that works in a salon can do up styles or do make up.

They might be good at cuts and colors and that's it.

Ok...the makeup is horrible. hahah i'm so sorry! The hair isn't that bad, she just didn't nail the look that you wanted. So glad you were able to schedule another trial and laugh about this!

Your makeup inspiration pic is exactly what I showed my MUA for my wedding makeup! Your hair isn't bad at all. I think its too flat in the front but I like the back. Now the makeup, yeah glad you went elsewhere.

Ooof. Yeah, I don't think the hair is *terrible* - it seems like she understood what you wanted but just did too much. But that makeup is really bad. You are clearly so much prettier than that craziness. Are you trying again with the same person or a different one?

The hair doesn't look horrible, just much less put together and graceful than your inspiration pics. The makeup---what did she do? That lipstick is TERRIBLE, you're washed out and whatever she did to your eyes...?
