Gypsy Wedding

I've seen it. They also get married at like 16, so it's no wonder that they make their weddings look like prom.

That whole show is a farce and makes a public mockery of Romani people. I would not give it the time of day.

So disrespectful.

Gotta love how those dresses leave bruises on the girls hips.

Agree with @JoRocka. Networks will put on what they think viewers will watch.

Omg I got sucked into the marathon yesterday! They are like a mixture of tacky New Jersey style and white trash. I told my FH that my dress was going to be bright pink. LOLZ

No. The show is a mixture of tacky and trashy. Romani people are proud and talented. Please do not judge and shame a people based on a network show. That's ignorant.

@jorocka is so right. It's terrible that a show can be so disrespectful and everyone will just watch it and laugh.

Yea that show is an abomination, I watched in awe....saying to myself these young girls cannot be that disrespectful....it's actually a waste, t

I love that show in a "what the fuck am I watching" way.

I don't like the show. I think it's disrespectful to their culture.

My SIL is a photographer and shot an Irish Traveler wedding once. She said it was interesting.

I got sucked into the marathon yesterday too what a train wreck!

I just started watching the show for something mindless before bed. I can't get over the juxtaposition of this one though. A wedding dress made out of live flowers... and... vests with no shirts. And one of the men was in orange basketball shorts and a vest.

I saw it years ago but I did see it was on again today. Very different...

@BlueEye I noticed that with a lot of the weddings featured on that show. The guys will wear something totally redneck/white trashy and the girls will have this elaborate expensive gown. It really bugs me that their dresses are clearly more than the whole wedding cost. It didn't even look like they had tables and chairs or food for their guests in the most recent episode.

That flower dress was the most decent dress I've seen on that show. Even when the flowers were dead!
