Guestbook alternatives for intimate weddings

What about getting a canvas print 8x10 of a pic of you guys and having them sign around it

We are doing this Photo collage for ours. People will sign around it. We print it larger because our wedding is larger but you could easily have one designed for future use in your home (what we are doing with ours) and print it smaller. Saffron rose designs on Etsy. She has tons of different collage designs.

We had 15 guests and used a wonderful Disney art print. I don’t think a guestbook is typical these days anyway.

You could also have guests sign a bottle of wine you open on your 1st anniversary. 🍷

I used some Canvasses and Permanent Markers.

I bought a canvas for guests to sign from bed bath & beyond. You can customize it and they have it in various sizes...very nice!

We have about 35 guests and I’m planning on buying a magnum size champagne bottle and having everyone sign it

We haven't decided yet. We are also having an intimate DW of about 16 guests. Since we are in Mississippi, we saw a alternative guest book on Etsy that is an 8X10 of a Paddle-wheeler. We are thinking of purchasing that. Then frame if after the wedding.

We are doing this idea. But I actually drew the cartoon at bottom based upon a memory of ours. Made it super special and perfect for smaller guest list. Just draw lines per guesstimate of attendees

Here is another simple idea. Buy or find smaller price of wood, stain it, paint a large heart and buy white, silver, gold permanent markers for guests to sign. This is great because they can write a little note as well... like best wishes from bob and amber... versus just their name

A friend of mine did this idea. Gold, silver permanent markers. They collect old albums and they picked their favorite, put it in a frame, kept the glass off for the wedding so everyone could sign. And after wedding put glass back on and hung it on wall.

Although their background color for the frame wasn't white, it was gold.

Last suggestion.

I've always loved this one. I have used it at a couple of parties, baby showers, engagement parties, bridal showers. This would be super affordable and a great way to keep celebrating those that are closest to you.

Small leather or faux leather bound diary size blank books with nice quality paper, lines, but no printing inside, make good small gathering guest books. People can write a few words, or half a page of a message. Later on, just reading signatures means very little, which is why many skip them. Most guest books are set up just for signing, so maybe less structured lined pages will give people the idea to write more. Then it is a keepsake. I have been in wedding parties of a few brides who bought 3-4 diaries on sale, and used 1 for a shower, and one for RD. And one of them put one out at a day after brunch.

Some kind of decor you want in your house and they sign it. Canvas, wine bottle, tray, picture, etc. something you would want to hand up or have put in the open. Scrapbook pages is another good idea so y’all can paste pics with the people and they can sign a message next to it and you can create your own book essentially
