Guest book: Yes or no?

I’ve seen SO many unique ways of doing a ‘guest book’ over the last couple of years. I also, embarrassingly, almost always forget to sign them…. What kind of ‘guest book’ are you having?

Yes, we are having a Shutterfly photo book of our engagement pictures as a guestbook. I also made a fun fill-in-the blank/mad-libs type sheet that I would love people to fill out, but I'm not really sure how to incorporate it. I don't know whether to put a stack near the guestbook or have one at each place setting or what.

FH and I both enjoy cooking, so we're doing a cutting board. Just going to purchase a plain wooden one, then he's going to personalize it for us. Once our guests sign it, we plan to display it in our kitchen.

We did wooden hearts. We had a bowl of blank ones and a bowl for the filled out ones. The plan is to eventually glue them all in a frame, its been sitting on my counter for 2 weeks!

@Trisha we did the mad libs too! They were a big hit...even though a few guests didn't sign their actual names lol.

    We're doing a scrapbook.

I have wedding and fairy tale themed pages, stickers, markers, etc.

We're asking guests to decorate a page, and write us a note, or leave us advice. We'll decorate the pages with pictures of the guests after the wedding.

    Smiley laugh

We did the signature mat with two of our engagement photos in the center. And it only took six months but we finally hung them this weekend. lol

We didn't have a guest book. I realised early on that I wouldn't want to keep a guest book, nor did I want to worry about everyone signing it. Even all those creative options, neither of us cared about. So we skipped it. No regrets.
