I went to my local jeweler who quoted me $1,000 for a classic 14k white gold 6mm wedding band. It does look like very nice quality and weight, and pretty identical to the one my dad has except my FH's would be white gold. Do you think that's a good deal? How much did you spend on your future...

I went to my local jeweler who quoted me $1,000 for a classic 14k white gold 6mm wedding band. It does look like very nice quality and weight, and pretty identical to the one my dad has except my FH's would be white gold.

Do you think that's a good deal? How much did you spend on your future husband's ring?

    I think that's pretty pricey! I'm planning on looking at Costco for FH's ring, they have nice jewelry and good deals!

    For reference, my FH's wedding band is about $1300, and it was 6mm platinum. $1000 for white gold sounds pricey.

    FH is an electrician and certified HVAC who owns his own business. He will have to take his ring off to do his work. He wanted a tungsten because he works on cars also and he wanted a ring that could take a beating. His ring finger is a size 12 so I paid almost $200 for his tungsten ring from our jeweler. The price you mentioned for a gold wedding band isn't too bad. I priced a platinum band for FH and about fainted LOL. I will be getting him a nice white gold band so he can wear it when we go out or on vacation. Good luck with your search.
