Hi!
My future husband’s late grandmother’s birthday is the day of our wedding. What are some meaningful but subtle ways to recognize her? We’re doing a memorial table and reserving a seat for her and others who cannot be with us, but he feels there should be something more to recognize her specifically because it is her birthday. I agree, but I’m not sure what that might be! Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Alexis,

I would definitely mention in a speech that it is her birthday & you feel honored to share such a special date with her birthday & take a moment to honor that! I’m having my wedding on one of my dearest friends birthdays & if she can make it to my wedding (it’s destination) I’ll make sure everyone sings her happy birthday. I think reserving a chair for a passed love one is a very special idea

Did she have a a fave dessert or drink you can serve in her honor.? You and your husband could also privately do a birthday cheers to her. Happy planning ❤️
