God-centered First Dance Song?

Day One by Matthew West is good... but may be too upbeat

Not sure if it fits your criteria, but we danced to "When God Made You" and it was perfect for us.

When I say I do by Matthew West? I am dancing to First Dance by Corey Smith it has a verse about God but that is about it.

Steffany Gretzinger has some pretty ones.

I would try Rebecca St. James, she's a Christian artist with some good music. The only song I have is "Wait for Me" and I really like it (not necessarily for your first dance though). It has a bit of twang, too

When God Made You is a great one! So is When I Say I Do...I've heard both. I haven't heard the other ones though, I will have to check them out! Thank you

I know that Blake Shelton made the secular version of "God Gave me You" but there is a more God-centric version out there, I can't tell you who it's by. But I think it's a pretty song, maybe not appropriate for every couple though.

There's a lot of country about God that has twang I personally think of "bless the broken rode"... Also on the subject of God centric song, it would not be a good first dance song, but right now I'm obsessed with "broken together" by casting crowns

The only one I can think of is Eric Church's She Loves Me Like Jesus Does. It's a beautiful song but I don't know for a first dance.

And I think the other version of God Gave Me You is by Dave Barnes....I'm incorporating that in the wedding somehow for sure

Ours is "Heart of the World" by Lady Antebellum. The song has a lot of religious themes such as forgiveness, faith, and redemption. And the bridge talks about heaven being "the home of our God."

Hi Nardin! Our entire ceremony is made up of Kari Jobe songs. You may like "My Beloved" and "What Love is This"...we are using these for the processional and foot washing ceremony, respectively. For our first dance we're using 'our' song... "Come to Me" by Goo Goo Dolls. That song is SO us!
