Gift for our venue (church) contact person?

Kelsey, on March 7, 2020 at 10:26 AM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 3

So we are getting married next Saturday at our church. They are letting us use the church for the ceremony and reception free of cost, provided we clean everything up. There is one main person we've been in contact with about coordinating things- he has really just been making sure the schedule is clear for the church on that day, meeting with us once to show us where everything is, emailing back and forth if we had questions, and giving us access to the building the day before. So not a whole ton of work but we still want to thank him for his help with a little gift. I was thinking either a gift card or cash- does anyone have suggestions on what/how much we should give him?

Cash for sure. I think $50 or $100. You guys are thoughtful for doing this!

I agree with cash, that way he is free to keep it or donate it to the church, if he feels like that's what he wants to do. If possible, I'd try to gift $100.

This is very sweet of you two, Kelsey. The above amounts the PPs mentioned seem appropriate.
