Getting in the car with your wedding dress on

S, on September 11, 2015 at 2:07 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 9

So I'm getting married tomorrow and getting ready at a place different than the ceremony. How did everyone get in the car and out without ruining their dress

Bottom first, lift up your feet, have a bm put your dress in, THEN swing your feet around, then have someone check the edges before you shut the door, shut the door and have someone double check to make sure your dress didn't get caught.

It's the one in my profile pic. But it's ball gown type with a long train. My dress wrinkles easily. Just worried I'll wrinkle it. I bought a handheld steamer just incase.

Step 1. Pick up all the material behind you in one arm.

Step 2. Pick up your veil in the other hand

    Step 3. Sit butt first

Step 4. Place Veil over the seat behind you and put all the poofiness from behind you on your lap.

    Step 5. Take picture

Go butt first and then scoop everything after you.

I think you will be totally fine with only a 3 minute drive! If you are really worried though you could always take it off for travel. My friend got ready in 1 location, put on the dress for pictures, then changed out of it for the 30 min drive to the venue where she put it back on!

I would if we weren't in a time constraint.
