Are you going to toss the garter at your wedding reception or did this tradition not make the cut?
Are you doing or ditching the garter toss?

Back to the Beginning: Do or Ditch?
We ditched it. Neither of us are a fan so it was one of the first traditions to go.
Ditch. This literally makes me uncomfortable thinking of my FH removing a garter in front of friends, family and geez co-workers! Plus we don't have many single male friends.
We ditched this.
We haven't decided. But we probably will do it.
Ditch. Ick. How is this a tradition? I don't need my dad and his great aunt to see this weird sexual ritual.
Ditching. So awkward and uncomfortable.
Ditch. Don't want FH go under my dress in front of so many people including his grandparents.
Definitely not. I'm not into the idea of my husband crawling up my dress in front of 200+ people.
Ditching. Though I think I will wear one as a surprise for the wedding night.
Ditching. I think it is awkward
Ditching. Just like with the bouquet toss it seems pointless when most of the guest are already married or in a relationship. Plus I don't feel comfortable with it.
So cringe-worthy whenever I witnessed it at other weddings.
We are doing it, but everyone I know does, so our crowd isn't made uncomfortable by it.
We are not doing that super cringey thing where the two people who catch the bouquet and garter reput the garter on the bouquet person. That is creepy to me and we are not doing that!
