Fun/silly things on your registry

The only things I have currently is gardening supplies (Potting soils and seeds), a few slicers (Egg, tomato, strawberry) , some movies, and I think a bed... The bed is more wishful thinking than anything else honestly.

Would it be out of taste to ask for things like a composter and containers? Or just put it all down and ask for gift cards to go purchase the stuff myself?

My FH went scanner happy he scanned a captain America (child size mind you) apron, these huge ceramic bowls, and I can't remember what else. I quickly deleted those! But I did let him register for a beer making kit and a smoker thing for BBQ-ing

I had a Christmas tree, HEPA filters for the furnace, K-Cup replacements, and a CHI hair straightner.

The store we registered at has a program where after your wedding you can receive 10% off whatever is left on your registry, so the day before my wedding I added a few things, that I wanted to buy myself. I guess we had a few guests who left it to the last minute and we actually received the hepa filters and coffee as a gift.. It was a funny moment opening those gifts

I'm hoping we get the griddle and waffle maker we registered for. To me that is fun because I love making breakfast for my FH on the weekends

I also registered for a new hair dryer and a straightener, just to see if I'll get them really.

FH registered for an XBox. I also put a couple board games on there

I think a Christmas tree is a wonderful idea for a registry, as a lot of newly married couples don't have one - and they can be expensive! Did you get it?

Ours is camcorder and lens for FH's camera, the soda maker and a few kitchen appliances to make my life easier LOL. We also had boys easter suits, piggy banks,, and baseball cards on it. And a few things I could not remember what they were when checking it online.

FH registered for a skull piggy bank. When i asked why, he said he wanted it-so I left it.

I LOVE kitchen gadgets-- so if you can imagine it... I registered for it or already own it.

Camping gear (stove, lanterns, sleeping bag-for FH....), board games, MY OWN remote for the PS3 (I always get the bad one!), soda maker...

So many fun ideas. It's making me really excited about making a registry in about a year.....

I registered for a set of 100 holiday cookie cutters...I really like to bake! Otherwise nothing too silly, I don't think. I'm really just hoping for cash because I got fired last week with 5 weeks to go. Ugh.

No we didn't get it, I bought it right after the wedding though.

It was something we needed to since we didn't have one.

The HEPA filters and coffee were just stuff we wanted to buy at a discount but instead received as a gift. The guest who gave it to use attached a silly note to it and we found $100 jammed into the box.
