I don't have too much good advice on supportive bras (I always have this problem too). I know that Victoria's Secret's bras have always been good with support, but they never lasted long for me..the underwire always pops through. Also, maybe it's just me, but their sizing is wayyyy different than other places. At VS I'm a DD but in all other brands I've tried, a DD cup is just way too big and it's usually more of a C or D.

As for thongs, I like the stretchy-nylony-mesh ones over cotton. Seem to be most comfortable to me. There isn't a specific brand I like over others though.

For thongs or other panties go to Victoria's Secret. For your bra fitting problem, they'll fit you for free there and their bras always last for me. Just be careful cause sometimes their bras fit weird. Just try them on before getting them.

I'm a 34DD too and I only wear Body by VS. I just found a pretty Coral bra and matching panties there. You can try Fredrick's of Hollywood but Body has a lot of support and you can wear all day.

That is the thing, VS fitter gave me a bad bra :-/. Wow so nylony is more comfortable over cotton? Yea that what makes me nervous Felisha, I always try them on then buy them then realize it is not the right bra. I heard that from Oprah that most of us women wear wrong size of bra and do not wear the right support bra.

I know ALL about trying to find sexy bras in a difficult size... I'm a 34H/I (no lie, it sucks) so places like Lane Bryant, Torrid, and Vicky's Secret just laugh me out the door.

The trick is to be willing to take a risk and buy online. If you're willing to risk $25 on a bra... head over to Ebay and search for your bra size specifically. If you order one and it fits perfect and wears well, then go ahead and buy as many as you can afford. If not, then keep trying different designers until you find one you like. I know it's not ideal, but for you it should be a lot easier to find a style that suits you and is comfortable.

Im usually a 32 or 34dd sometimes bigger. I find VS are always a struggle for me because a dd is just not big enough. Fredericks of Hollywood have some very sexy bras in bigger sizes that are so comfortable. I havent found a bendon in the US yet but I used to buy from them all the time in other countries and they have gorgeous bras for bigger sizes

I wonder why Aussie that there is sexy bras for bigger sizes in another countries than in USA.

Megan also try Lane Bryants. They go down to a 36 and have cute styles. They also fit and for me the bras last. I first bought from them as a 36DDD. Some of teh more sexy styles the bands for me felt smaller.

I thought i was a 36 C/small D and then i got professionally measured at a lingerie store here in Austin and she gave me a 32F...it fit perfectly! I was in shock...definitely find a specialty lingerie store over VS

When I went to VS they fitted me right. I think it just depends on if you have someone who knows what they're talking about. Most of my bras aren't from VS though because they never feel right for some reason. I only use their strapless one. The others are from Kohl's but that's not where I was measured.

But like I said, ALL of my undies are from VS. They're just soooo comfy and cute.

Once my boobs go back to normal im definately finding a speciality store to fit me. Last time I went to VS was when I was looking for a strapless for the wedding and my mum was with me, the sales lady said your a 32d I said there's no chance and she said just try it it will fit. Well I was right a 32d wasnt even covering half my chest so she finally listened and got me bigger sizes once she saw. Speciality stores are the best though

I was thinking maybe have professional fitter at Nordstrom then buy bras somewhere else.

I always buy VS mini boy briefs but I am ready to give thongs another chance lol.

LOL aussie I am sorry about bad experience through. I hate strapless bras, it doesn;t support me well.

Strapless bras aren't a good thing for ladies with bigger chests. They never have enough support.

I love VS ... my 18 yr old daughter is big 42DD she wears VS and they fit her well. just keep in mind with all bras each style and fabric may fit differant and never dry them in the dryer... same thing with the thong panties.. i love my cotton VS but thats just me .. good luck and if you dont like how it fits try a differant store and or a differant sales person.. happy shopping !!

Just an FYI, if you are thinking of doing the Lane Bryant route, they only sell 36s online. You can, however, go into the store and ask them to order some for you and they get shipped to your house for free. I have the same chest issue but I have been told by multiple doctors that VS bras are not the bras for me to wear daily because the straps are so flimsy that they end up hurting your back in the long run. That's why I'm having to order from LB online. They have cute bras though, and they are cotton lined so they are SO comfy! Any LB questions, just ask!

I second Aussie on Fredricks, we have one close by and that is FH fav new store for me to go to, because he always knows he's in for a sexy treat when I come home with a bag from there. I am only a 38b but I went with my ManOH's wife who has DD's and she was really pleased with their selection and plans on going back for more bras in the future.

Unfortunately my wedding dresses both needed straplesses so I had to find one. Ended up with a 36dd but it was still too small in the chest. I love fredericks for sexy bras though my hubby always takes me in there

I would definately suggest fredericks as well. Their bras and panties are way hotter than vs and their bras actually fit better to me. I think vs bras do run small or something
