Food truck friendly venues?

Jenn, on January 30, 2020 at 11:15 AM Posted in California Planning 2 11
Hello ladies
Me and my fiancé are planning on getting married next year in 2021 but we’re trying to find venues that are “outside vendor” friendly as far as catering... we’re located in California (southern). If anyone knows of any places, can you please list them Smiley smile thank you in advance!

Here you go...I hope this helps you! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/16oLyBviL6fA8uKD0Kgfhh48uFtNEMksZuHirgjyjNXk

Off the top of my head, the French Estate in Orange is an affordable venue that allows you to bring in whatever vendors you want, and has hosted weddings with food trucks before. https://www.thefrenchestate.com/weddings/

The Riverbed Farm in Anaheim is affordable and super BYO vendor friendly. They've also hosted food trucks in the past.

The Pelican Courtyard in Newport Beach is also affordable and I believe they have a preferred vendor list, but will allow you to BYO.

Most city/county-owned venues, parks, community centers, event centers, and women's clubs are also pretty BYO vendor friendly.

You’re welcome! Also, the Environmental Nature Center in Newport Beach has food trucks on their preferred vendor list. I’m not sure if you have to pick from the list, but it might be worth asking.

    Hey there, Jenn Smiley smile

As it can be difficult to find a venue that allows external caterers due to liability concerns, I recommend you start with the catering company/the food trucks and see where they have catered weddings before. This will provide you with a shortlist of places that you know allow external caterers!

Do you know what different food trucks you're going to book so far?
