Saving! We ordered our food from a Chicken place called chicken shack. It breaks down to about 6 bucks a person.

Splurge. We already talked the food and beverage minimum down a little bit for our venue, but ended up with less guests than originally anticipated. They got spoiled with additional dinner courses, a dessert table, and late night snacks. 😅

Save I guess as our venue is all inclusive and caters their own food.

Save. We're having our wedding at a non meal time (after dinner time) so, in this case we're definitely saving on food.

Save/splurge… the cost is built into our venue price, as catering is included. Cost per person ended up being around $35

SPLURGE! we knew we were going to have to just bite the cost of the food. We are also getting snacks for social hour (no alchohol).

Splurge! This is the ONE aspect of my wedding that I will not be saving on. It is the number two thing people talk about when they think back on a wedding, and I am a huge foodie. That is why we picked the venue that we picked. No outside space, but the food will be a-plenty and delicious!

A bit of both. We're finding a good caterer with delicious food (haven't selected one yet), but we were sure to book a venue that allows outside catering and we're planning to pick an inexpensive option and a buffet, but we're not going with a local restaurant or anything that might make the option less expensive.

Splurge. Against my will. The catering package was included with our venue, and the catering costed more than our entire venue did. Ugh - Food is important, but I know we could have found better/cheaper options, but we were left with no choice. Smiley sad Oh well, it will be delicious! And it comes with bar time. Smiley heart

Splurge. We were very particular with our planner, venue, and caterer about the food we wanted served at our reception. So we did we we had to to make that happen.

Compared to lots of others, save! We are doing a plated meal, $16.50/person for chicken and $20.50 per person for rib roast. I believe the $4 extra for rib roast is ridiculous, but FH has an extremely expensive taste and can't seem to come up with a different beef option that would "satisfy" him. But we are not doing a cocktail hour so we don't have to pay for appetizers.

Saved. We wanted a specific type of food to be served and we didn’t want to spend a lot of money on it. So we kept looking until we found someone who wasn’t a chain type of catering company.

We would have splurged, if we would have done the big wedding thing, but in the end we just had some great dinners with our parents. Budget friendly, and peaceful.

Hoping to be budget friendly, but not taste like its budget friendly! We have a friend that is gifting us our cake and desserts! That will be super helpful!
