The black ones? We got them at Cavendars. THey were 10% off, so I think we paid $215ish? I LOVE Corral brand! They are all individually handmade...and so worth the $$!!

We are having a buffet, formal but not too formal. At the table I plan on doing the place setting, napkin, silverwear, glasses, favor at each table setting and the centerpieces. There will also be a place card one at each table listing the people at the table in a picture frame sort of thing, 2 bottles of wine and a pitcher of water.... I never really thought about not having the plate at the table since it is buffet.... It does make sense though, that the plate would be up with the food... oh lord... I have some thinking to do...

I've not had Corral brand before, I ruin my boots to fast so I only get Justins and Ropers and it's not worth it. I had a pair of TL that were $175 and they lasted me about 2 weeks before I wasn't thinking and ended up ankle deep in mud with the cows! lol

HAHA That's what my TL's were too! We got home from a "date" and when we got out of the truck we heard a commotion with the cows and I took off through a creek and into the cow pasture! lol They were nice until that day... lol

I had a Mardi Gras-themed buffet style wedding. I placed mardi gras masks where people's plates would ordinarily go. You can also put place cards there.

We are actually getting married in Anderson....where my grandparents are from, in their church... I have found that there are some more rustic/country themed venues when you head towards the Tomball area....Katy, etc....AND the prices are usually lower too!! Smiley smile

Our favors are from Etsy...they are plantable bluebonnet seeds in the shape of Texas...b/c we are going for the springy theme....

I think these are cute, and aren't too laid back, but would go nicely with BBQ. They have different colors.

    Oh that is too cute!!!

I'll have to check into some of those areas. I'm planning for end of April, so I'm trying to throw all this together basically in a month or so...I'm soooo scared! lol

Hi all, we used the large pages of scrap booking paper as placemats for the engagement party... Which was buffet style. There were so many choices and it really made the tables look great! Also, this was very cost efficient! We will do the same for the wedding buffet, along with folded linen napkins and menus. Favors will be circled around the center pieces.
