Flower-less bridesmaid bouquets ideas!

Teagan, on July 11, 2014 at 8:30 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 12

I really want to do something different instead having flower bouquets for the ceremony. Any ideas?? I am already working on my brooch bouquet, but it is proving to be too expensive and time consuming for all the bridesmaids.

A friend of mine stood up in a wedding a couple months ago and the bride had a brooch bouquet too, and had all the bridesmaids carry ostrich feather fans. It looked really neat...they were a bit more blinged out than the one below, but same idea

Kind of along the same line ... I didn't want to do bouquets for all the girls and was going to make corsages instead ... still flowers, though...

My wedding is on a Friday night and I want to do more of a cocktail style dress for my bridesmaids. So I am considering small clutches instead of bouquets. This way the have a complete outfit they can wear again after my wedding!

Thank you so much everyone! I really like the fan idea. It's an outdoor July wedding so that could work!!

I've seen bridesmaids carry oversized pin wheels for a fun look. They were really great for the spring or summer.

Mine won't be flowerless, but they will be relatively inexpensive! I am having a brooch bouquet, but my bridesmaids will just have a bunch of baby's breath with twine to hold them together! I'm putting those together the day before the wedding and it should be relatively simple.

I don't have any good ideas, but I don't like the clutch idea. It just looks strange and awkward.

Tasia F., I like that but you should do a trial bouquet before that! I agree, it does sound pretty simple. However, what if it takes longer than expected or the twine doesn't cooperate or look like you want it to? That's not a stress you need the day before your wedding!

If it's outdoors, they could carry parasols or lanterns. I always thought that was pretty.

I did pinwheels for the BMs and pinwheel bouts for DH and the GMs. It was easy and inexpensive.

How about a single large tissue paper flower?
