So today was the third time this week that I have had a venue flake on us. We showed up at the hotel, waited thirty minutes in the lobby, only to be told by staff that they didn’t know where their wedding coordinator was. We left without being shown around at all, and we cancelled happy hour drinks to make this tour happen. This morning I had a tour appointment cancelled for tomorrow that I booked two weeks ago. And last weekend a venue cancelled morning of our scheduled tour.

My my fiancé and I both work long hours during the week so Friday evenings/weekends are our only times to tour. I am starting to get really frustrated about how hard it is becoming just to find a venue, let alone all the other craziness that is bound to come after.

Anyone else have this issue?

I’m really sorry to hear this has happened to you, and three times at that. I can completely see why you’re frustrated.
At least you found out now about these venues and not further down the line when booked.
You and your SO will find the perfect venue eventually and it will be all worth it

We haven't had that. Where are you looking?
FH and I also work crazy hours during the week, so planning ahead of time is definitely a MUST. there is no way around it i must add. Don't lose hope, the perfect venue is coming!

Wedgewood has several locations all over Colorado. I almost went with them but they also are all inclusive so that might help you when planning with your long work hours. Is there a certain area you are looking in?
