First Wedding Anniversary Gift Ideas

If you're using the traditional anniversary year gift themes, I think the 1st anniversary is something paper, so maybe tickets to something?

Hmm....are you going the traditional "paper" route? If so, you could get him tickets to something (ya know cuz they're made of paper), cigars (made of a type of paper)....

We stuck with the traditional "paper" gift.

He had expressed interest since moving into our new house (and therefore having a basement and more space) of getting back into brewing his own beer (a hobby of his from many many years ago). So I bought him a gift certificate (paper) to a local home brewing store to be able to start it back up.

I seriously think he's planning on getting me a cow....

Marry a rancher and they think you should have your own herd...I don't care what he says, I'm not branding ANYTHING.

A friend of mine is doing a boudoir photo shoot and giving her husband the pictures for their first anniversary. I think it's a cute idea! (And it fits with the "paper" gift.)

My husband gave me a paper certificate for an anniversary sundial that he found online, and we worked together to have it handmade and personalized just for us. The process was great, the guy who makes them added a special date line that the time shadow follows on our special day each year, and the beveled glass sundial now sits on the window sill in our home and makes rainbows when the sun shines. It is a great idea!
