First Look Trend - Into It or Over It?

Not into it at all, and neither is my fiance. I have been waiting a LONG time to get married and have always been a very traditional person, so I'm waiting until I walk down the aisle for him to get his first look.

Into it.


We have an hour ride to our beach wedding with a limo. So, I plan our first look by asking the groom to wait in the hotel lobby, and once I am ready, I will walk down the stairs to him 💕

Over it. It takes away from the magic of seeing them down the aisle.

There's so many aspects to this. 1) Tapping the shoulder..not a fan of. 2) Hands held around a corner, not a fan of. 3) Spending time with each other to get nerves out of the way, absolutely into this. 4) Getting pictures taken before the ceremony, again absolutely. Everyone I have talked to who has done the last 2 things has said they were so calm afterwards before the ceremony and it did not take away from the emotion of walking down the aisle at all.

Into it ! Not very popular around me, but I love the idea ! That was a very special moment for us before all the crowd came onto us ;-)
