Over it. We will not be doing a first look as FH wants to keep it traditional. While it might be great for some, it is not something we are interested in doing ourselves.

Definitely into it, and logistically it just makes more sense for us, so that is what we will be doing for our wedding.

Into it. It prevents the guests from having to be at the reception without the bride and groom and then most likely ditching early. I don't want my guests to spend half an hour to an hour without us.

Into it. For many practical reasons after reading about it. I think it would calm my nerves, give us an intimate and private moment, gives us more time for photos and more time at the cocktail hour (yes for food!).

I guess I would be 50/50 on this. We've both been married before and have lived together for 4 years so being surprised really isn't necessary. However, he never had a wedding and wants the element of surprise seeing me in my wedding dress. So it shall be.

Definitely over it. I’m kind of traditional so the groom isn’t supposed to see the bride before the wedding so this is a no for me.

Into it! We just finally decided that we want a first look. It was a hard one to decide but I always love seeing the reactions so I'm excited to do it!

Into it! We are doing a first look so that we can make a better schedule for our wedding party and all of our guests. We don’t want to keep everyone waiting!

Over it, I'm a huge introvert and not a die-hard traditionalist in any sense, which is what they always say first looks are good for... But for me it feels fabricated for the photos. I know many couples and photographers love them, but it just feels fake to me. Maybe it's because we live and work together and are around each other so much... But I'd rather the first time I see him that afternoon be for the actual ceremony and that extra special. ❤️

I can't decide if I like this or not. I don't think we're doing it for our wedding, but i do see the appeal of it. I like the idea of having more time after the ceremony to join in on cocktail hour instead of having to do a bunch of photos, and the way it can potentially take away that "first look" at the alter preasure. But on the other side of that, i really like the tradition of seeing eachother for the first time as i walk down the aisle and the anticipation of that. So, it's a toss up. I think either has its perks.

Never thought I'd say this but INTO it. A moment alone for him to see me and steal some magic sounds like heaven then if he cries we are alone.

Love it! We want to spend as much time enjoying our special day (that you work so hard to plan) with each other and our loved ones. It is also more intimate to see each other for the first time away from all of the guests! Smiley heart

Over it. I’m excited to see him for the first time walking down the aisle. But I totally get why people do first looks the pictures are so cute.

Doing it. I want to be able to enjoy cocktail hour (our venue is known for their insane cocktail hours) and not have to care about taking photos after the ceremony- just enjoy all the people who've traveled here and have fun! I definitely understand the appeal of wanting to wait for the walk down the aisle though. I'm not going to wear my veil until I walk down which I hope will make me look a little more bride and add an element of surprise. Either way--my fiance is very sensitive so he probably will cry regardless lol

Into it. This was one of my favorite parts of the day, besides everyone trying to creep on us.
