First dance ideas help!

I would pick a song that is meaningful to you and your fiance. Is there a song that reminds you of each other or has played any type of role in your relationship? Our first dance song was Yours by Russell Dickerson. We have seen him in concert twice and will be seeing him for a third time in March. At both of the concerts we went to my husband would sing the song to me and we would slow dance along to it so it made perfect sense for it to be our first dance song. We also had a last dance song that we started dancing to then invited couples to join in. That song was Best Shot by Jimmie Allen. I really love that song as I feel it describes our relationship. We had considered it for our first dance, but Yours was better so we choose to do a last dance as like our ending of the evening so I knew immediately I wanted Best Shot to be that song.

My FH has been fighting me on a first dance song lol. I have always wanted an 80s love song but he doesn't want it even in the slightest. He wants something recent which is fine. He finally agreed to actually consider having Yours by Russell Dickerson. We were listening to it the other night and I am such a huge country music fan that I feel like that song is perfect!

If you're into country, there's tons of options there. One of my favorites is Kane Brown! He's like a more modern country though but he's amazing. Otherwise there's Ed Sheeran, Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillat, Dan + Shay, etc. I won't name any specific songs only because I think you should choose a song that represents you and your relationship but those artists are a great start.
