Finally booked our venue!

What a beautiful venue.
I definitely felt a sense of relief. It's one of the largest if not the largest thing to do and it's usually done first. After that you can do the small details.

We actually had to book our venue before we got engaged. It really got the ball rolling and with 4 months left we have nothing left but small details (assemble favors and invites) and DIYs (welcome sign, bridesmaid gifts).

Yes times a thousand on feeling relief. We went back and forth for about 3 weeks deciding if we wanted a more hands-on venue which we loved or one where they took care of most things. We chose hands-on.
