FH and I had our final walk-through at our venue last evening. They still had everything set up from last weekend's wedding, so it was really nice to be able to visualize how to best arrange the tables in the barn and that kind of stuff. Our venue staff just lets us walk around the venue on our own and are available via phone and a short drive if we needed something. It was so nice to be able to just spend the time figuring out detailed planning just the two of us.
Up until this point, as a person who battles anxiety and panic attacks, I have really been struggling with the stress of work, wedding planning, grad school, and trying to be a good fiance, sister, aunt, daughter and friend. People keep asking me if I'm getting excited, and my truthful answer was "I'm excited for the stress to be over." But something about being at the venue last night just flipped a switch and I can finally say that I feel really excited about everything!
The other two times we had toured the venue, they hadn't done any of the spring planting and landscaping, so we just had to imagine what everything would look like, but last night we got to see it with all the gorgeous landscaping and I cannot wait to be standing in this spot becoming a wife!
