Fiancé(e) Friday! Love at first sight, or not quite? 😍

Of course I was attracted to him, but I had just got out of a on off relationship after a few crappy short relationships, so I was nervous. He had just gotten out of his first serious relationship and was still trying to get over her. Even though years later he admitted he wasn't exactly into me at first( for the first month of talking), I must have done something right because after a month or so we started dating.

I fell in love with my husband on our first date. We were driving in his car and making small talk when all of a sudden he put up his hand and told me to shut up. (I was mildly upset seeing as it was our first date) but then he turned up Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers as loud as the radio would go and sang it at the top of his lungs. At the end he said sorry but he loved that song. Who couldn't fall for the guy with no fear and a love for music?

Definitely not love at first sight lol We work together and at the time we met I was married to someone else. My marriage fell apart years later. We were friends and things just happened. I’m glad they did. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me. We still work for the same place but I got a promotion so I’m in a different department, so no issue there. But at one time before we were dating, I was his boss lol

When I very first met FH I thought he was the biggest jerk on the planet! We were volunteering at a Cub Scout day camp and he was assigned to assist me at my station that day. He got there, took one look at me and said "I'm going to hang out with my friends and be a Walker (someone who helps the littles safely get from one station to another)... BYE!" He was 14, I was 13. We met again a few years later and I didn't make the connection right away that he was the same boy, so my second first impression of him was "meh, he's annoying and arrogant but at least he's friendly and talks to me" (where as other boys in this circle are still in the 'eww, girls have cooties! Don't go anywhere near them stage') we were, I believe 16 and 15 at this point. We've known each other for about half our lives

We met in middle school. 20 years later we became friends again and then 1 year after that started dating

We started as friends then became friends with benefits then friends then dated lol

It took me about a month and a half after our first date to know that he was “the one”. FH & I met on Bumble, and I thought he was so cute! I was so giddy when he started talking to me. We clicked super quickly because we are both both huge Alabama football, Braves baseball, and Preds hockey fans. He is the sweetest and most caring person I know, and I can’t wait to spend my life with him!

I joined a writing site and posted a question to get help with a story idea I had. He replied with a joke. Back then I was rather serious, and so I didn't appreciate his response. As I saw more of him across the site, I realised that was simply how he was. I became transfixed with an avatar that he had at one point and I liked his overall personality. I knew he was in Arizona, and with me being in Ireland I tried to 'rationalise my feelings'. It took me 6 weeks to finally publicly admit that I liked him, and that only happened because of another member making her own confession about a different guy! I had unsubtly hinted before saying that a particular song reminded me of him...but he was very awkward about making the first move from previous negative experiences. Even after the public declaration, he still did nothing!

So I just messaged him directly. I listed things that I liked about him, and some common interests we shared...and the rest is history.

I knew he was the one I wanted to marry after 7 weeks of talking.

We didn't actually meet face to face until we'd been together for 8 months. By that point we had already gotten so close and fallen for each other. Meeting was kinda surreal, but it didn't feel awkward at all. It felt totally natural, happy and right.

We worked at the same company and I ended up in his training class. When I first saw him, I thought he was super cute but he appeared very preppy which I thought was so funny. But we hit it off from day one.

It was not love at first fight. In fact I was at a point in my life where I wanted nothing to do with him or any other man for that matter. I had started a new job working with my cousin at an apartment complex, it was the busy time of the month rent week. My cousin and I was talking during a lull in the day. She said have you met Willy yet and I said I don't think so and she said oh you'd know. I then said well, I haven't met him yet. Once we did meet he came into the office speaking Spanish and my cousin was responding to him like she understood what he was saying and I asked her if she spoke Spanish she said no!!! Although I don't speak much myself but I did understand enough to know what he was talking about. Long story short he kept asking for my phone number all the while wooing me with food and even serenaded me once. It was still about seven months before I finally relented and gave him my phone number. It was the best thing I've ever done. He is very loving and very funny and keeps me laughing.

We met at the age of 16. When we met, I didn't think much of him, but he thought I was so beautiful!! Over the next 4 years we became best friends and then at 21, we started dating.

I was actually dating someone else (for 4 years!) when I met my FH...my ex and I met him at the same time at the same party! I have never, ever had my head turned while in a relationship with someone else, but there was a huge spark between me and my FH that very first night. A few months later I had broken up with my ex and FH and I started dating! The rest is history

We met in one of our college classes. I was completely smitten and so was he! We both knew it was pretty special from the first few weeks we were together.

Technically it was love at secind sight I was way to drunk the first time I was introduced to him. So when I meant him again it was like the first time and Ironicaly enough he was the best man and my friends wedding who is now now only my MOH but my soon to be SIL

We "met" when I was 13 and he was 16. He was my school bus driver.
Not love at first sight( he had no clue I existed) but, I had a huge crush on him❤

His sister knew! She told me I had to meet her brother we were perfect for each other, both smart and nerdy and so much alike and blah blah blah and I told her no way forget it. So, she whipped out his picture and I shut up, because there he was. The reason no one else was ever right for me. I knew right away. I saw it in his green eyes and I still lose my ability to speak when I look in them. Those lovey eyes and his funny crooked Elvis grin... we can both have the stomach flu and I'll still feel the romance like it's day one. He's my teddy bear.

Not love at first sight for me. We met at a bar I was drunk & I don't remember him at all from that night. Later the next day he added me on Facebook & said that he thought I was cute. For about 4 months I did not give him the time of day totally ignored him. He was very persistent though, I thank god that he was now.

We've been in and out of relationship for 33 years until he proposed February 16, 2019. The wedding reception will be plated.
