Happy Friday!! What was your very first impression of your future spouse? Did you get immediate butterflies or did you start as friends? How did that first meeting go down? Was it love at first sight? Or not quite yet! ❤️ Photo by Jessie Leigh Photography in San Diego, CA

Nope, I ran from him even called him my "stalker" 😂😂😂

Then one night he came over and was sitting on his car and boom I knew he was someone special and 3 years later and a baby here we are getting married.

My first impression was he is very weird 😂 and I was right. He is very weird. We knew each other during middle school, but met back up in school. He was sitting alone during lunch, looking sad so I went up to him, chatted with him and exchanged phone numbers. Few weeks later, I broke up with my current boyfriend at the time and a few weeks after that we started dating.

Never thought it was gonna work out. At the time, I saw it as a fun time and nothing serious. Almost 6 years later, we are engaged and getting married in less than 11 months❤

My first impression was that he was 'kinda cute' but i made myself not think about it for a while as I was already in a mess of a relationship at the time and we were at a very public group. About a month after that, my partner died. I went into a period of mourning and said no more and really believed it. 5 months later, I saw him again at his/his sister's birthday party and it was like the whole world fell away the moment I looked into his eyes. It took another 4 months of "I can't get this guy out of my head" before we started dating.

My FH and I met on a blind date and the first words I said were "Damn you're tall" not hey, hi, how are you? or anything like that 😂 He is 6' 3" and I am 4' 11" so his height was a huge shock to me. Our first date went on all night with meeting for dinner at Texas Roadhouse at 5 and then I introduced him to Starbucks afterwards and we stayed there until almost midnight. Our chemistry was so unreal that our first date went on for 7 hours.

We met on Match. I believe I liked one of his pictures. It was of his roller hockey team after they won a championship. I just thought his pictures looked like he was a fun guy. He was at a party and pretty drunk when he got the alert that I liked his picture, but he messaged me anyway. We chatted for a while online then texted. It turned out he lived like 2 blocks from me. We texted so much and his phone was so old and he couldn't keep up so he went and bought a new phone so we could text better.

He asked me to meet him in person at a park by our homes at night. I refused to meet at night in a park and he could not understand why. I kept calling him a crazy seriel killer! We finally decided on a dive bar by our homes. I saw him walking to the bar and picked him up at the corner and gave him a ride. No time for an awkward do we hug or handshake or what.

What I liked was he seemed so casual, but still nervous. He was wearing basketball shorts and a white tee. I had just come from hot yoga and was pretty sweaty. I noticed his chipped front tooth first. He explained it was from playing basketball. (one day he came home from a dentist appointment and the chip was gone... I cried, I loved that little chip!) We sat at the bar talking until we got kicked out! Below Deck was playing on the TV. He invited me to his place and I figured that was going to be that, but we ended up seeing each other everyday.

About a week into seeing each other he asked me to be his girlfriend... Him being 30 and me almost 30 I thought this was so Frigin cute.

A couple of weeks later his mom was taking him out for his birthday and he made a comment about only one of the ladies he loved being there for his B-day. He didn't actually say he loved me until a long while after, but I still remember that day.

I wouldn't say love at first site, but deffinatly lust and infatuation. I know 100% my life would not be the same without him. He has taught me so much about myself and who I want to be. With him I feel so strong and supported. I know we will always be able to grow together and we will always be able to lean on each other for support. I love knowing he can trust me and be open and honest with me. He truly is my partner, and I just feel like I understand what love is.

The first time i met him was when we went to hang out with a group of friends. i knew a girl who was friends with this one guy, and they invited me to go to the movies with them and the guy's friends and thats when i saw him, i thought he was super cute and wanted to talk to him but he was an introvert that kept to himself so he was ignoring me and everyone else and was listening to music by himself. I didnt think i would see him again after everyone started to leave so i didnt even bother again. That same year i went to a music festival Vans Warped Tour and was working at one of the booths for a record label and i saw him again pacing back and forth like he was lost, so i sucked it up and approched him and we ended up hitting it off we talked during the rest of the festival and he asked for my number before we left. then 3 days passed and he didnt try to contact me until the third day and then we started dating a couple weeks after that, we've been together for 4 years now and are getting married next year Smiley heart

We met out freshmen year of high school. I knew he was different because I felt really comfortable around him right away. I could be goofy and myself around him. He was easy to talk to and we got along so well right away. He have been together ever since then. Going on 9 years in March and getting married May 2021!

Well, I was an extremely shy person in high school.. and considering I sat next to him on the school bus, looked into his eyes and had a 20 minute conversation with him like we had already known each other for our entire lives.. AND left my phone number with him Citebase I HAD to see him again.. I'd say it was the closest thing to "love at first sight" i will ever experience and it was amazing.

It wasn't love at first sight but it didn't take long. Lol We met through a mutual friend and started talking via social media. We decided to meet and had a "double date" with our friend and her bf at the time. She made me ride with him to the bf's house which was about 25 minutes away and it was pretty awkward as we didn't know each other well. We ended up having a lot of fun and the ride back was a lot less awkward.

Our second date was when things really started happening. He invited me to a BBQ/bon fire at his friends house. As we sat by the fire, I said I was cold (I'm always cold) so he grabbed my hand and said he was keeping it warm (smooth move Casanova lol). That night he drove me home and we had our first kiss and I giggled like a little girl and a couple of weeks later we made our relationship official and 3 years later we're getting married! 🥰

Definitely not love at first sight, lol. We were just friends to begin with. We met in our sophomore year at our little community college, 8 years ago. My first impression of him was that he was was nice and funny, if a bit quiet (which, now that I really know him, idk how I EVER thought he was quiet Smiley xd ), and he seemed, I don't know, kind of...I'm not sure how to describe it. He always walked around so hunched over, like he had a huge weight on his shoulders, or was trying to fold in on himself. I'm still not sure what all that was about, but he walks straight and tall now. We've been together for a little over 2 and a half years now, and talking consistently for maybe 4, but he's definitely still nice and funny (and a bit crazy), and not at ALL quiet, lol.

We went to the same school as kids. I was a grade ahead of him. We never talked then December 2017 he started working at the same place as me. We became really good friends and four months later we started dating! I then found out he wanted to be with me at first sight - as of December 2017! I am so happy to have him in my life forever!

We started out as friends. I was a widow of 2 years who wasn't even sure if she was ready to date. He had been burned pretty bad by several past relationships and seemed to have given up on dating. We hung out and got to know each other. Three weeks later we started dating & became exclusive. ❤❤❤

My FH and I met playing poker. I was a dealer at a local game, and he came to play. I knew him for 6 months before I spoke to him. He was very quiet (and younger than me) so I never really approached him. Fast forward those 6 months. The guy who usually walked me to the car after the game wasn't there so he offered. We started talking and I asked if he wanted to hang out with my friends and me and watch the Bruins game the next night. After that night he asked me out on our first "official date" to go to the ocean and go Clamming. That was that, we have been inseparable for the past 6 years.

I never would have thought I could love someone as much as I love him. But it happened. And I couldn't be happier, I'm so excited to marry my best friend next year.

We actually met over 10 years ago. We had the same group of friends. At the time I was 21 and was 25, I was dating a mutual friend of ours and he was talking to someone as well, but I remember i had always found him attractive. We ended up reacquainting through ANOTHER group of friends, this time he had gone through divorce and so had I. We went out on a date the day after we “met” again and have been inseparable ever since!!

I thought my fiance was amazing when I first met him but he wasn't too sure because we worked together and I was the owners daughter. So we started as friends but quickly realized that we weren't just supposed to be friends. The first time I kissed him, I felt all the cheesy sparks that they talk about in romance novels. Being friends first was good though because not only is he the love of my life, but he is also my best friend.

Fiancé(e) Friday! Love at first sight, or not quite? 😍 3

That is hard to say for us! The first time we ever met we had home room together in 5th grade and he asked me out a few days later but you all know how those relationships workout Smiley xd Anyways, we went through middle and high school together and we were the best of friends but that was all but there was always that little spark of something whenever we would see each other. We both went separate ways for college but started talking after our first semester and from that point on we were inseparable basically. I knew we were meant to be cause it felt like the universe kept bringing us together. So I am very lucky to say I fell in love with my best friend and I can't wait to marry him Smiley heart

For me it was. When I first laid eyes on him at 12 years old, (he was 16), I thought he was handsome. I knew I wanted to be with him. Now at that point he only wanted to be friends. Understandable because of the age I was. We were really good friends. We talked a lot, in depth. Things we never talked with anyone else about. The feelings grew stronger over the years. Until one day he came to my rescue after being in a horrible relationship.

I still feel the same love for him as I did 15 years ago. He is my best friend, and still gives me butterflies. Can't wait for our wedding.

Not love at first sight for me, more like shock. My friend from Ireland was like I'm going to introduce you to my friend Jeff from Utah in the Air Force. So with those nouns going (Jeff, Utah, military) I was expecting a different looking dude lol. So when this skinny- golden brown- non buzzcut- can't figure out his ethnicity- dude showed up to the cafe I was like wait -what the hell?

And the rest as they say, is history :-)
