How many are you doing favors? If so curious on what your doing, I was on the fence because a lot of my family friends just said it’s a Big waste. I was gonna do dog treats.. (cause our dogs are in the wedding)

We did Koozies because they were affordable and figured people would leave them. Our guests ended up using them all night for beers and most of them got taken which was a nice surprise. I’m sure a few got lost being left on beer bottles when servers cleaned but it was nice to see so many people take them. I was happy I put a couple aside for us.

Oh my gosh, I absolutely love the idea of doggie treats for favors! The photo suggestions of PP are sooooo cute!! I have heard wedding favors typically tend to be left behind also. I have a feeling though, the doggie treats will go over well! I think it’s just a matter of Knowing your guests and finding a favor they will really want.
I was on the fence about doing favors but decided to do them. We did bottle openers for men and wine bottle stoppers for women that go with the theme of our wedding. I figured these would get used and NOT left behind by other favors I've seen left behind at other weddings. I see mostly candy, cupcakes, jams, things like that left behind.

I didnt even think to ask this. When I speak to him in a couple weeks I'll ask. Otherwise I dont think itll be a problem because I'm sure he'll find a nicely decorated spot at the venue as itll be decorated for the holidays.
We are still thinking about it..... Our wedding is on Pi day (3.14). We initially wanted to serve both cake and pie, but the venue would have charged us 1.50 per person for the 2nd dessert, so it was pretty costly to do a mix. We decided that we'd rather spend that money on better food, so we ordered a cake only. The bakery suggested that we get apple pie cookies as favors. We are pretty sure we are going to do that so that we can incorporate Pi day. I'm thinking the bag/sticker will say.... Our love is never ending, like Pi.
I'm skipping the traditional favors, we are having a photo booth and serving a late night snack. I don't think favors are a must there are other alternatives for people to enjoy.
I never take them with me ..... so im not having any. No matter how inexpensive they are it add up$$$$ i would rather use that extra 600-1000 in something else.
My FH's mom for every important event prints off personalized wrappers for Hersey chocolate bars! They are cute because the "barcode" is the date we started dating and the date we are getting married. So that will be our favors!
Favors (in my opinion) are a huge waste. Especially dog treats or the like unless you’re certain everyone you’re inviting has a dog that can have that treat. we didn’t do anything for favors and they weren’t missed
