How many are you doing favors? If so curious on what your doing, I was on the fence because a lot of my family friends just said it’s a Big waste. I was gonna do dog treats.. (cause our dogs are in the wedding)

We are most likely going to do measuring spoons shaped as hearts for our favors. It’s something that everyone can use, or have as a kitchen decoration.
So we are doing favors! Our wedding is October 4th, 2020 we are doing little scented fall leaves as soaps! In a small burlap baggies tied and have a little wooden heat with our initials on them. Or Thank you not sure yet. I’ll be using my wood burner for it! Thank god im crafty 🤣 I’m making the soaps by hand too! It’s actually super easy to do!
I’m thinking either bride and groom cake pops. Or cookies in the shape of wedding bells. One of my former co-workers makes them. Etsy has lots of fun stuff. You might have an apothecary jar with dog treats and a bag( really cute picture earlier) and maybe a small jar for kitty lovers like me (little mice).
We got married inside an observatory so we did Moon Pies as individual favors and our reception was in a wine cellar so we did custom wine bottles per couple/family to take home at the end of the night. It was great and nothing was left behind.
I know that many times favors get left behind so I wasn't planning on doing anything really but my mom found a good deal on key bottle openers so she bought them. I found some cute favor boxes that look like luggage and since our theme is tropical/travel I might get them and put Hershey kisses and/or butter mints in them with the key tied to the box. Most people love chocolate and mints; plus if there are left overs it's not a big deal. I have also played with the idea of using the pictures people take in front of our photo backdrop as part of the thank you cards. All of these things are super cheap so I'm not worried about if people don't really use them after all.

I ordered the bags from Etsy and just bought a few giant bags of grounds from Walmart and filled them a few days before the wedding so it would be fresh. If you search on Etsy for "coffee wedding favors" they have a ton of options

Wow! What an awesome wedding favor! I just looked at your photos and those are some neat pictures in the observatory. I'm from Mobile, AL so on New Years here, our downtown does a moon pie drop. You just gave me an idea to give something "Mobilian" to our out of town guests!
These wonderful little soaps will be in little burlap baggies with a piece of string wrapped around it with and a wooden heart with our initials T + S I’ll be doing the wood burning since I have a wood burner but I’m excited to make these! Super cheap too! Gotta love 50% off coupons for Michaels and A.C. Moore! We are making them cinnamon apple and fall scents !
I’m super in the fence. We were going to do koozies and then changed our mind to cups and now we’re thinking of just doing $1 scratch offs and placing them at each seat and hope someone gets lucky Instead of something going to waste.
Since our wedding is at a brewery we may do bottle openers or koozies and since its set in October a week before Halloween we may add a skeleton key accent to it. But I am also on the fence about a favor. I've always seem to leave mine behind or always seen multiples left on tables.
These are ours but not quite done.. they will be key chains when completed. They were done quicker then expected and turned out great.. sorry my photo is blurry but I was excited
I am not doing favors because I agree that they typically get left behind. This is also my experience planning my corporate events for work. The only exception was this year we bought 3oz mini jars of local honey from a client and people were taking several each! They were a huge hit. I also LOVE the doggie biscuit jar idea and might try to incorporate that!
Well I was thinking of that as well. But luckily my venue has small succulent flowers that they are giving out. And so we are just wrapping them ourselves with something for our wedding in October 23rd, 2020
They cost too much and people rarely take them. I do have an idea of having blankets for people because our date is in October and hoping to have our ceremony outside so it might be kinda chilly, but if they aren't all gone I love having extra blankets.

We're doing little jars of honey with monogrammed labels.
