How many are you doing favors? If so curious on what your doing, I was on the fence because a lot of my family friends just said it’s a Big waste. I was gonna do dog treats.. (cause our dogs are in the wedding)

My fiance said no, it’s a waste but I said yes so we are doing them! Our theme is Country/City so I’m giving out cowboy boot shot glasses to our guests and the bigger boot to our wedding party. I haven’t figured out what I want in them yet though.
I ordered these cuties lol i also ordered candies that says mr and mrs. On them so i can out its inside only spent $30 on 100 of these and 200 candies
We are planning on making a donation in our guests name to animal rescues/sanctuary. All the leftover food and flowers will be going to shelters and retirement homes.
I budgeted $1.25 per guest for my favors. I wanted something that my guest would enjoy and would not become a dust collector after a few years. I worked with a local vendor (Halety Sweet, Jamaica NY) in my area. We decided to do cupcakes. My local vendor put her creative spin on the boxing and decor for the favors. I had a 140 guest. I stayed within my budget and the guest LOVED their gift.

The gift you choose is always a winner. People love chocolate and almonds. Not to mention it is inexpensive and a nice way to say Thanks for sharing this day with us

I agree! Something edible is always in order. I did cupcakes and did not have one left. My guest loved them. They were made by a local vendor in my area. I would add make your edible gift unique. For instance, instead of using a plain old frosting top my vendor decorated the cakes with our engagement photo. The picture was edible. I thought that was a nice touch.

Stephanie you are spot on with the handmade gift. I think gifts that are are made rather than bought are appreciated more. My wedding date was a few weeks ago 10/5/2019. I pray your day is as beautiful as mine!
We are doing coasters. The picture we used as inspiration to make them is attached. My dad cut the wood from their property (free) and our family is using a cricuit to put the names on them. We already had the vinyl. If people leave them behind we aren’t out any money. Do something that isn’t real costly so if they do leave it it’s not a big deal. I’ve seen people do little bags of wildflower seeds and I loved it. If people leave them behind you can still use it!
We're having a destination wedding with 48-50 people. We are ordering vintage key bottle openers. They're pretty useful, and fairly inexpensive, so we're hoping our friends and family take theirs.
Our wedding is a destination in Italy, the favors will be little bottles of olive oil (produced by the farm owned by the wedding venue) to take home, and personalized mints for after dinner.
These are distressed antique frozen charlotte dolls that were excavated from an old factory landfill in Germany. They are from around 1860. I will have these with little plastic tags on them (gold plastic hearts that have our name and wedding date on them) as favors as well as antique skeleton keys for people that don't want a 'creepy doll'. Kinda hoping people DO leave them behind because I collect them and I love them. We are also having a candy and dessert bar with to-go bags and boxes.
