Is giving out a wedding favor to all of your guests still common practice? My fiance and I were trying to get by without doing it if we didn't have to since every wedding we've been to it's always the same stuff that we never really end up using or we forget them there. Is this seen as tacky or cheap if we don't do this? Or do people not really even notice if you're giving basically a party favor?

We are doing a CD of all the music played at the wedding and leaving one at every seat during the reception.

You don't need them. However, I found some really affordable favors that really won't hurt if no one takes them.

The are completely optional. We wanted to get away without them, but my mom is pressing the issue. So we are going to do some chocolates in a small mesh bag with a tag at each place setting. Simple, easy, and relatively cheap. Plus most people enjoy chocolate or know someone who does!
