Favors??? Is anyone not doing them?

We have a photo booth so those are favors also my venue provides a viennese table so instead of serving the cake we will cut it and they will box it up for everyone to take home.

Yes, since my church and centrepiece are lanterns ,we're giving mini lanterns which will also serve as their place holders as favors (Im hanging a ty card with their name on it on the lantern).

We're doing really simple ones. Just a little bag of Hershey's kisses. Nothing too fancy but a little something.

Nope, total waste of money. They usually get left behind unless you can eat or drink them

We aren't doing favors, I feel like they are a waste of money. You could spend that money on more food or alcohol that they will appreciate a lot more.

We're not doing favors. I've been to too many weddings in which they were left behind.

I keep going back and forth. But we're having mini pumpkin/gourds w/ a photo pick stuck in for the placecards, so I might put a little tag around the stem with a Thank You or our initials, and they can take that home as a festive decoration for the season, but they don't have to keep it forever.

I would only consider an edible favor but since we have apps, multiple course dinner, dessert and then late night apps.... I don't think we need MORE food.

You can put up a sign (I've seen this at weddings) "In lieu of favors we've put a donation towards [insert]"

The one I saw was a dog rescue. You can also put towards cancer research, etc or anything you'd like to make a donation to!
