Favors for my Literary wedding

Marisa-in-Love, on January 25, 2014 at 9:58 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 9

Our wedding theme is "Love in Literature" and it is very shabby chic meets the library in Beauty and the Beast Smiley smile

That being said I have no idea what kind of favors I should give out! Do I do a food favor (instead of cake we're having cupcakes, so that Pintrest inspired idea is out) or do people want something to hold on to (like a skelaton key bottle opener?) or maybe a little midnight snack box? HELP! What have/will you ladies be doing! Smiley laugh Thanks!

Midnight snack box would be good.... or you could find a whole bunch of books that are cheap or on sale and wrap them up in brown paper for your guests, that way it ties into your theme and would be something different, I love your theme!

I think bookmarks would be cute. People who are readers will really appreciate those (I sure would!).

This shop on Etsy sells favor boxes shaped like books for about $3.00 a piece. You can have the spine personalized. You could fill them with candy or a midnight snack depending on your budget.

You can get old books and give them out, you can also take pages from books and make cute party bags and fill with candies. Can use bookmarks to close the bags if you wish!

Bookmarks are cute, but a lot of people read their books on electronic devices now. What about cookies in the shape of a book, or a scrabble related favor?

Bookmarks would be adorable! Also...my videographer just posted this video. Check out their arch! It would fit perfectly with your theme!

Literary weddings are so cool. We've done a Pinterest board that might give you some inspiration. Lots of luck and congrats! http://www.pinterest.com/espressodave/book-lovers-wedding/
