Faux pas to wear wedding shoes before wedding?

I've never heard of a superstition about wedding shoes.

I don't think so. It would be good to break them in.

Mine were fairly recognizable (bright blue) so I didn't want to "ruin the surprise" so to speak. But I say go for it.

My wedding shoes were shoes I bought to wear with a dress to a friends wedding.

I was wondering this too... I really want to wear my shoes to my shower.

I'll be wearing mine for dancing lessons so I'm used to dancing in them and to help break them in so I'm comfortable on my wedding day. I'm hoping they won't get scuffed.

I will be wearing mine ahead of time to break them in.

I am all for getting my money's worth. If you wear them to your shower, just consider them your "bridal shoes" for the wedding AND pre-wedding events.

Mine are blue as well, but I don't really think anyone will be paying that much attention.

I wear mine around the house because I like them. they are off white though so I don't wear them outside because all the mud would show. but I say break them in
