Okay, this is weird and random but I am curious. My FH has never purposely passed gas infront of me. I say purposely becausd when he is asleep it doesn't count. Today he jokingly said," After we are married, I am just gonna let them rip!". I hope he's joking. Anyhow, are any of you thst comfortable...

FH ripped the worst far of the century after he got his windows tinted and I couldn't roll down the windows. It smelled so bad my stomach started to hurt and my eyes started tearing up. I told him to park and he wouldnt. All he did was laugh like an evil monster for good ol 3 minutes. He finally parked and we had to open all the doors to air out the car. I have been trying to let one out as nasty as that was for the past 2 years but It never compares. He just sits there and says nice. Lol.

We have been together 5 1/2 years, and lived together 2 1/2 years and still don't. I am weird about it and wouldn't even fart in front of my family growing up so I don't around him either. He just thinks it's better manners to do it in the bathroom and I don't argue with him! I won't even mention pooping to him though! I tell him I'm taking a shower! I've been this way since I was a kid with my family though, so I know it's my own issues!

We are both comfortable with it. His mom is the one who gets totally offended that we are comfortable with it. Mind you we don't openly fart in front of her but FH has talked about it. She tells us how gross it is. We also leave the bathroom door open. I think when you have a 2 year old and a dog bathroom time goes out the window.

My parents have been together for 39yrs and my mom still doesn't fart in front of my dad. The times she accidentally farted, my dad giggles cause its so not like my mom to do that. Lol

We've been together for three years and still haven't intentionally. However, his bedroom shares a wall with the bathroom so I can hear him laughing at my fart sounds through the walls. No shame in that haha

I am crying over here! !! When fh and I got together I would his them in and hated pooping around him since mine can be catastrophic. Fh at first said he never has gas, that man has more than I do and thankfully they are non stinkers for the most part. I leave the bathroom door open and fh will come in and have a conversation with me but he closes the door downstairs but not upstairs.

Whenever DH farts they never smell, meanwhile mine can also clear a room! Lol! I also leave the bathroom door open when it's just the two of us at home, he does sometimes but not all the time since he likes some privacy. Lol

Lmboooo they should be!!! (I never knew they had a name but Im totally using it!!!)

My family isnt very grossed out by bodily functions though. My dad used to say "Omg an airplane just crashed" whenever someone farted. It was our little laugh/ bonding moment I guess. lol Come to think of it though I dont recall my mother passing gas other than when she was in the bathroom ( which for some strange design reason was connected to my bedroom by a door). I used to make weird comments and sound effects whenever someone would tear the bathroom up while I was in my room lol

I know everyone isnt keen on using other ppl's bathrooms so I try to always leave a lit candle in the bathroom when there's company so people can go without having to worry about anyone smelling them. FH was so impressed by that when he first came to visit.

This thread is comforting in itself lol. It took FH 6 months to fart in front of me. Took me longer. He believes girls don't fart lmao he's marrying the wrong girl. I can be gross. No shame. First time

I farted in front of him it was because he was tickling me and it just came out. He always says Ewww. But please. He loves farting on me. It is gross. But hey. Nature calls. Bathroom. Same rules apply. There are no rules!

FH has been pooping with the door open since we met. I'm a little more shy but if it happens, it happens. I don't get really embarrassed anymore

I don't typically just "let them rip" in front of FH because that's just not the way I am, but he has no shame doing it around me. I will however leave the bathroom door open if I'm just going to go pee, but not the other. FH though will walk right in & "take care of his business" on the toilet while I'm taking a shower. I've never thought twice about any of it til reading some of these comments! My parents are the exact same way.

After a few times of not being able to "hold in" gas in front of DH, I realized it was not a big deal. That being said, the bathroom is one person at a time with the door closed (we don't "cross the threshold" when the other is in the bathroom).

The other day I farted on FH then rubbed my ass all over him. There's no shame. He loves it.

Oh, and he Dutch ovens me on a regular basis.

Yeah. FH and I are pretty gross. We "dutch oven" each other and do "cup of soup." We also use the toilet with the door open or when one of us is in the shower. No shame. But we've been together for a really long time.
