Fall wedding dress inspo

I'm getting married this October. I love the fall! I wouldn't say my dresses are exactly fall, but here you go

I'll be wearing this in white. We live by the water in Virginia so fall is often quite warm so I didn't want sleeves. The whole thing looks very fairy like with all the tulle which makes me think of fall in the woods for some reason.

This is my wedding dress. We are getting married next November and are having a dark fall theme, so I went with something definitely nontraditional. But I think Ivory or off White is a good fall color as well. It's warmer looking and not so stark. I have seen some really pretty dresses that have almost "foliage" type lace on them that are beautiful. My best friend got married last fall and looked at David's Bridal and they have some good fall options.

Tips on trying in dresses: don’t get upset by sizes. I went to multiple shops and my dress size was drastically different at each one. Keep an open mind. Try some on that you don’t think you’ll like. You’d really be surprised. I thought I knew what I wanted when I started but I ended up hating the style I thought I wanted and liked some that I didn’t think I would. Do your hair and makeup beforehand. I went after work, I was gross and exhausted. I loved the dress but it was hard to feel beautiful in it when I looked a wreck. Bring help but not too much. It is a bit overwhelming. I had my mom, FMIL, and FSIL. It was great and fun but I couldn’t imagine having any more personalities and opinions than that.

I get married this October!

I'm getting married Oct. 13 & this is my dress. It's not super fancy, but it's exactly what I was going for. Our wedding has a boho feel to it with dreamcatchers & lanterns so this goes perfectly with our vision.

Here's mine, this is before it was altered!

I tried on so many dresses and never felt that "moment" happen. In fact I stared at this dress hanging there for 20 minutes before I actually decided. (After I left to get lunch and think it over!) Don't let anyone rush you! We are getting married in 44 days!

i would keep an open mind and try on all styles of dresses! that way you can rule out certain aspects that you love or don’t love!
