Fall 2020 Brides- What do you have left to do?

Michelle, on November 22, 2019 at 4:49 PM Posted in Planning 0 16

I'm getting married October 24, 2020 Smiley smile! A lot of people say I'm ahead of the game but I feel like there's still so much to do.

So far I've:
Booked the venue (includes Dj and in-house catering!)
Took engagement photos and gathering addresses to sent out STD magnets to VIP list
Created a hashtag
Booked a photographer
Booked a makeup artist and hair
Picked my colors
Picked our wedding party (they'll order through Azazie)
Created a rough guest list

Currently I'm:
Still looking for my wedding gown
Flower appointment tomorrow
RSVP'ed for catering tasting in February

I still need to find an officiant, find decorations, find my cake, create a registry....

My wedding is October next year as well.

    So far, I've

    Booked the venue

    Created preliminary guest list

    Picked catering package

    Hired photographer

    Hired MUA

    Hired DJ

    Purchased wedding dress
    Took engagement photos
    Created Save The Dates

Purchased the napkins in my wedding colors

    Ordered Floral stands and vases

Had 1 of the 3 centerpieces mock-up created

Ordered 1/2 chargers and custom color silverware

And of course, I still have a lot to do.

So far I have: booked the venue (all inclusive flowers, caterer, DJ, bartender. I supply alcohol. Coordinator included, thank goodness because I don’t know if I would be able to go through this without her!) Making payments on the venueFound my dressAsked my bridal party, they all said yes! 🥰Have looked at dresses for 2 out of the 3 bridesmaids. One of them already put a deposit down for her dress 😊I have my hair dresser doing my hair. FH’s sister (MOH) said she would do my make up since I am going for a more natural simple look.
Things I need to do: FH’s suit, he is getting it custom madeLook for groomsmen suitsHe needs to ask them lolOfficiantCakeEngagement photos (will be done soon)Looking for dresses with my mom for her ShoesAccessories (I am not doing a veil, but want to do a tiara).
I feel like I still have so much to do! 😳😱

I’m 10/10/20 and the following has been done:

Venue (hotel includes catering), officiant, florist, photographer, wedding planner, DJ, hair and makeup, cocktail hour entertainer, my dress (no bridal party), videography, guest room discount codes, honeymoon, hashtag, cake, guest “book” and save-the-dates purchased.

Favors and invitations have been decided upon and just need to be ordered. Decor ideas are pretty much set. The main thing remaining (right now) is to decide which wedding website to use and create it by the time we mail our save-the-dates in January. Most of the remaining items will be ordered by January (maybe there will be holiday deals).
My goal is to have pretty much no planning to do in 2020 and just enjoy the engagement.

That sounds my goal. I think by winters end I want my cake, officiant, and dresses all ready...then just focus on buying the little decorations and that’s it.

Wow, I am feeling a little bit behind reading all of these. We are getting married Nov 2020 and so far we have:

    1. Booked our venue

    2. Took engagement photos

    3. Create our save the dates/ wedding website

    4. Created 1 centerpiece (to see if it was worth it to DIY)

    5. Chose colors

    6. Chose bridal party

    7. Put a deposit on my dress

    8. Created invites (planning to order on Black Friday)

    and that's about it....
