I have never used them but I absolutely plan to wear them prior to the wedding. Any suggestions? Like...which brand, which style, do I put mascara on them?? any tips on how to get them on or to stay on or off???? THANKS!! they kind of scare me to be perfectly honest!!

    Examples:

You see the kind in the 3rd row that say 100 Black are going to be a more dramatic (less realistic) look where as the the ones in the first row that say 12 Black will provide a more natural look that will enhance your natural lashes.

Hey there, I would love to help. No sleeping in them for sure. Everyone's eyes are different so hold them up to measure then yes you might need to trim the sides always the outside. Try practicing getting them the that shelf between your eyelid and your natural lash. It's best to have someone else do it and easier if you have a friend willing to practice. They also sell mascara by ardell meant to blend the lashes with yours. Any water based mascara is best. Hope that helps, was skimming over the posts.

I found that going on youtube and looking at video's of tutorials on how to put the lashes on.. it will be much better than people trying to explain it to you.. you will have to see it, to get a better idea.. and they have SEVERAL tutorials of them, and the girls speak on what brand they used.. very helpful

I've tried the strip before and the individual lashes. While I love individual lashes there are not what I need on my honeymoon. I'm scared they would fall out in the ocean :-)

I was just going to suggest youtube! They have a lot of tutorials. I like using the smaller clusters myself when I do use them. Every magazine article, youtube tutorial, etc. I've ever read or seen recommends cutting the longer strips in half at least and only applying on the outer half of your lid. When applying the glue, don't immediately put it on your lash line, let it get a little tacky first. I use tweezers to hold the lashes, I feel they're less clunky than my fingers. This website http://www.eyeslipsface.com/eyes/false_lashes is AWESOME for makeup and supplies like brushes. The basic makeup is only $1, and mineral makeup is $3-4!!! The quality is actually very good. The only thing is that shipping is around $8, so I usually try to buy a lot at once to make it worth it.

Julie L...you hit the nail on the head...I just ordered some more lashes from eyeslipsface.com. I use them on my clients all the time. I hate the individual lashes that nail salons put on ladies. Not only do they pull your real lashes off, they are very heavy and look fake.

    Wow!! very helpful ideas!!

    MakeupShana...where are you located??

I'm thinking I'll go to MAC a day or so before and get them to put them on....that seems to make the most sense--it allows someone else to do it, plus, the price is totally swallowable, plus, i can take them off the week after since our honeymoon is backpacking and camping and I'm sure I won't want to go all tooooo long without washing my face after that!!

    awesome advice, thanks!!

I'm way too scared to do them myself. My luck I'll be walking down the aisle with a eyelash on my cheek! LOL. Salon all the way if you ask me.
