Essential or Extra - Signature Drink

Extra... but always a cute idea as long as it isn't too complicated for a bartender or too specific of a taste and no one drinks it.

Definitely extra. Fun, but pricey. We're not going this route and sticking with beer and wine.

Extra! I almost always order the signature drink if there is one, but my husband and I couldn't think of any cocktail we really wanted as our "signature" (or any clever names) so we skipped this!

Depends on your bar style. We are doing open house beer and wine, and signature drinks. For us, they are essential. If we were doing open liquor, we would pass on the signature drinks.

I agree! They are fun and cute, but if you aren't going with the option of liquor it can be so expensive!

It's extra if it is not included in your package.

Ours was free. If it wasn't, we wouldn't have done it.

Yes! To keep down the amount that people are drinking we will be having two signature cocktails that will encompass 1 white liquor and 1 dark liquor

Totally extra although depending on how your bar is set up, might not cost more so then not so bad.

Good point!! If you are already having open liquor, I feel like most people will just drink their favorite mixed drink instead! What signature drinks are you having?

Extra, but I think we will be doing them just to keep bar costs down. We will cover beer, wine, and signature cocktails, anything else will be cash.

I actually wanted to have an open bar, however, it was more cost efficient to create signature drinks with my venue.

That seems to be a common way to do it these days! That last wedding I went to had it this way and it was great!

View Quoted Comment The venue has a list of drinks they create or we can come up with our own. We’re having a taco bar and my venue offers a signature margarita so we’re definitely going to try that one. I haven’t decided on what the second drink would be yet.
