We didn't have a signature drink at our wedding. To us, it was not essential so it's extra. We had a full open bar.

I wouldn’t say they’re a must have lol but we did choose 2 signature drinks to go w/ our theme: Bayou Beauty (ginger liqueur) & Bad Juju (rum, passion fruit)

I would love to have one but our venue charges extra so we aren’t doing it. Hopefully unlimited beer and wine is good enough for the guests lol

That would be awesome for a rehearsal dinner! Do you know what kind of drink you'd want to serve?

Extra but I would do it if it was in our budget!

I don't want to but my FH hates beer and wine so he needs something to drink! Maybe I'll just check with the venue and see if they will let him bring his own drink!

Extra. I don't want to assume that everyone will like the same thing as me.

I'm thinking his and hers drinks:

His: Bourbon Old Fashioned Sweet with Door County cherry and bitters (Old Fashioneds are super popular by us and FS is always drinking them. And he's from Door County so it will be perfect!)

Hers: John Daly/Tea and Lemonade Vodka (It's my favorite drink and I think the flavors of the two are different enough, which is good for people with different taste)

The only thing is, the two cocktails are both kind of the same color, so I'm thinking I'd do flavored lemonade/iced tea to change the color to something brighter. Maybe raspberry? Or pomegranate tea/blue raspberry lemonade? We'll see!

Totally extra and I've had some awful sig drinks at weddings (come on, really think about your flavors before doing this). We are doing this at our welcome dinner by default - we are fully supplying our bar with a few drink dispensers for easy cocktailing. Both of us have long been bartenders, so you bet you bottom they will be perfect for the occasion!

Extra. I think it's extra cringeworthy when the drinks are named after the bride and groom lol
We are having an open bar and I'm a vodka tonic kind of gal, so it just wouldn't make sense for us.

Essential.. I just love the idea!

Mine is a Caramel Apple Sangria called "Apple Of My Eye".

His is called "Whiskey Your Way" and it is Whiskey (Jack Daniels) and guest choice of a mixer from coke, ginger ale, ginger beer, hot mulled cider, cold cider

Extra. As I am diabetic and can't drink (too much sugar in some alcohols, like wine, and too many carbs in stuff like beer and whiskey), and he doesn't like to drink, there is no point to even attempting this. Plus we're not even going to have the extra money for alcohol, period the end, so it's gonna be dry anyway

Oh no, that is always my fear!! That sounds awesome for the welcome dinner, especially since you bartenders, I know they will be delicious!!
